Patti deserves 10 stars out of 5, that’s how amazing she is! My partner and I were looking to relocate to Livermore and purchase our first home, and received Patti’s name from my aunt, since my cousins went to school with Patti’s children.
From our initial phone conversation, Patti quickly jumped in and started showing us properties, as well as educated us on what to look for in a prospective home.
Patti grew up in Livermore, so her knowledge of the area is extensive. As someone from out of town, I appreciated that Patti knows pretty much everything about Livermore, past and present. Patti was able to give us background information on the history of the builders in neighborhoods we looked at, pros and cons of the neighborhoods, and even restaurant recommendations.
Her work ethic is phenomenal; she is available day or night, and is accessible in whatever way works for her clients (phone, email, text, etc). Patti’s very perceptive and was able to quickly determine what my partner and I were looking for in a home, even when we couldn’t quite articulate it ourselves. Rather than show us every single home for sale in Livermore within our price range, Patti helped us narrow down the choices by focusing on homes in the neighborhoods we were interested in.
While I would look on Zillow daily to see what was on the market, I eventually realized that I was looking in vain. If a good house entered the market, we would be sure to hear about it from Patti (and oftentimes before the house was even on the market).
Sometimes we would ask Patti to see houses we saw online that looked promising, that Patti herself didn’t recommend. She was always so patient with us and would set up the viewing, and every time we looked at a house that I asked to see that Patti didn’t tell us about, they ended up being pretty bad. So lesson learned: listen to Patti, and don’t get distracted by what you see online!
Patti truly has our best interests at heart, and isn’t the kind of real estate agent who tries to get their clients into a house as soon as possible just to get a commission. She’s very astute; when we would look at houses with her, she would point out the good, the bad, and the areas for potential, and we trusted her input on houses more than anyone else’s. We know that Patti wanted us to find not just any old home, but the right home- one that we will be happy with for many years to come.
Patti did indeed find the perfect home for us, and helped us determine our offering price. Patti is also very skilled at writing creative offers that help her clients stand out as buyers. Her skills and expertise extend beyond her ability to help clients buy and sell homes. She is very well connected in the community, and has a great network of inspectors, brokers, and repair workers, as well as recommendations for home improvement vendors.
Even after helping us close on buying an amazing home, Patti has supported us every step of the way as we prepare to move. She set up the repair work we needed done and met the plumber at the house, sent us photos and updates of the repair progress, and even gave us a calendar organizing the next steps we need to take. We would be lost without Patti, and are so appreciative of everything she has done for us. As first time homebuyers, there are many things we wouldn’t even think to do or ask, and Patti has always been there to guide us.
I’m also impressed by how many of Patti’s past clients she continues to keep in touch with, and how many of the homes she has recently listed are sellers that she worked with in the past as buyers. This clearly indicates that there are many other people who had a great experience with Patti, and choose to continue working with her rather than someone else.
We are SO glad we worked with Patti, and know that whenever we’re ready to sell the home she helped us purchase, that we wouldn’t consider any other agent but Patti!
